"We believe in taking the extra time to educate our patients which empowers them to take part in their health. We won't just write you a prescription and send you on your way leaving you with questions."

Dr. Adam Berry was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the Chicagoland area.   He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois @Urbana Champaign.  He then went on to receive his medical doctorate from Rush Medical College in 2005.  He also completed over half of his medical rotations at John S. Stroger Jr. Hospital (Cook County Hospital) in Chicago, IL.  In addition, he completed his residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.  All three “High Volume” medical centers helped to expose him to a wide range of complex medical cases thus helping to develop a strong foundation to build his medical knowledge on.  He was taught the importance of treating all aspects of a patient’s health, in aims to heal their mind, body and soul.
Dr. Adam Berry would then go on to work as an Internist for the underserved as a former National Health Service Corps participant working with a large network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Chicago, IL.  He would also mentor local youth and volunteer his time in the Public Health sector as he led and gave didactic discussions on various topics such as Men’s Health, STD Prevention, Depression in the Elderly as well as Prostate and Colon Cancer Awareness.

Over the past few years Dr. Adam Berry gained additional training in healthcare leadership, quality improvement, medical economics as well as health awareness, disease prevention and wellness.  He continues to give presentations throughout Palm Beach County, Florida and beyond to a variety of audiences.  Dr. Berry is a firm believer in giving back to the community, this is why he also prides himself on mentoring youth and volunteering his time in underserved areas on a consistent basis.

Dr. Adam Berry is very passionate about educating his patients on how to become their best patient advocate while reaching their individual health goals.  His thorough, yet down-to-earth approach helps to ensure patient confidentiality and trust every visit.  He feels that he can learn something from everyone he meets, patients included, this is why he treats all people and patients equally with respect.

"Part of feeling good about your health is knowing that you have a medical clinic that you can depend on. I've been a patient before. I've had surgery before. We know how a patient wants to feel when seeking health care treatment and seek to provide that for Vital Care patients."

Dr. Jerisa was born in Augusta, Georgia and has received education throughout the United States.  She graduated with Honors from Howard University and went on to complete a Post Baccalaureate Program at UCSD School of Medicine.  She graduated from New York Osteopathic Medicine after rotating at many New York and New Jersey area hospitals and was accepted into a rigorous, combined/dual medical residency program to include Family Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and her training included intense rotations at several hospitals and clinics around Chicago and northwest Indiana.

Since graduating a combined residency program, Dr. Jerisa actively worked as an Emergency Room Attending in both Illinois and Indiana and consistently received high accolades from the patients she treats and staff members.  Presently, because Emergency Medicine is her passion, she continues to provide emergency care to patients in Southern Florida area hospitals.

While still a resident in medical training, she authored her first motivational self-help book to encourage people going through various difficult situations as they seek to reach their dream.  Additionally, she prides herself in educating the community at large, especially youth and women, that nothing is impossible and continues to write and speak in order to inspire and uplift.
